3/20/16 - SPRING CLOTHING DRIVE

It's time for spring cleaning - -- but wait, don't through it out.....bring it to our annual clothing drive and help the children of St. Leo's raise funds!

We will be holding our annual Spring Clothing Drive on Saturday, April 9th in the back lot of the school from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. 

WHAT we are collecting:

·       Wearable and Usable Clothing

o   (men’s, women’s and children’s)

·       Shoes, belts and handbags

·       Linens, towels, bedding, curtains, tablecloths

·       stuffed animals



3/20/16 - PASTA DINNER

The St. Leo's HSA is once again hosting an All-You-Can-Eat Past Dinner!  This year's event will be on Friday, April 8th from 6 pm to 8 pm in the school gym.  Our menu will include penne w/vodka sauce; pasta marinara, cavatelli with broccoli along with salad, garlic bread, bread/butter, beverage, dessert, coffee and tea.  All this for just $10 per person ($5 for children 10 and under -children 2 and under are Free)!

All tickets must be purchased by April 4th.  Dinners are eat in ONLY!  Sorry - NO TAKEOUTS!

Please complete the attached form and return to Mary Beth Viviani via backpack Adriana - Grade 8 or Pam Cyran via backpack Connor - Grade 8.


2/16/16 - FISH N CHIPS DINNER

Take a night off from cooking and join us for a delicious Fish ‘n Chips Dinner prepared by Tastefully British on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.  Invite family and friends to join you.  Tickets are only $11.00 per person and include fish, French fries, cole slaw, beverage, and dessert.  You can eat in or take out.  Orders must be purchased in advance by March 14th.  Tickets will not be sold at the door!  Please print out the order form located to the left in the Forms and Docs link and return it with payment to Pam Cyran c/o Connor, Grade 8.  Make checks payable to St. Leo’s Home & School Association.  Tickets will not be issued as there will be a checklist at the event.  We need to have at least 150 orders. Donated baked items would be appreciated and may be dropped off in the school gym after 3:15pm.  At least 5-6 workers are needed to serve that night.  If you can help or have any questions, please call Pam at (201) 805-1964.  All proceeds benefit the children of our school.  Thanking you in advance for your continued support!

1/18/16 - FAMILY BINGO NIGHT - CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

Please join us for a night of fun as we host our 2nd Annual Family Bingo Night on Thursday, February 4th in the gym. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the fun will begin at 7:00 pm - and the best part - - it's FREE!!!

12/3/15 - 7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENTS - SERVICE HOURS FORM

An updated Christian Service Hours form has been posted to the Forms and Docs section on the left.  This for is to use when volunteering for any Home and School Association event.  Please be sure to download the form and bring it with you to the event you are working to have an HSA member sign upon completion of your assignment. 

8th grade please note:  Please submit all your service hours to Bill at your next large group meeting or before to ensure your hours are recorded.

7th grade please note:  You must hold onto this form until October 2016 when you will begin to hand in your service hours for confirmation.

10/6/15 - TRICKY TRAY TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Preparations for our Tricky Tray are in full gear!!!  Important reminder.....if you wish to be seated with a group, all ticket money must be submitted at once.  Tables accommodate 10 and are filled on a first come, first serve basis, so please make sure your group is submitted together.

Friday, November 6, 2015 - School Gym

Doors open @ 6:00 pm

Drawing begins @ 7:30 pm

Tickets: $20.00/person purchased by Oct. 23rd ($30.00/person after Oct. 23rd)

Price includes one sheet of raffle tickets for small prizes, coffee, tea & dessert. 

Soda & water will be available for purchase. 

 Feel free to bring your own food & drink.

 

 Help support our food pantry – bring a non-perishable food item for a chance to win a prize!

 

If you wish to be seated with friends, ticket order MUST BE SUBMITTED TOGETHER – NO EXCEPTIONS!

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL –RAFFLE TICKETS FOR SMALL PRIZES $5.00/PER SHEET (26 CHANCES)

 IF PURCHASED BY OCT. 23RD  

Order/payment must be made at time of advance admission purchase.

(Raffle tickets purchased in advance cannot be replaced for any reason.)

10/6/15 - TRICKY TRAY PRIZE DONATIONS - WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Reminder - - our school NEEDS the support of each family. 

Our tricky tray is fast approaching and we are asking each family to donate a prize valued at $50 - this can be a cash donation or a prize of that value to help make the event a success! 

Be creative with prize donations!!!

All prize donations must be new.

 

Prize donation ideas:

Gift cards, restaurant gift certificates, rub-off lottery tickets, jewelry, small appliances (i.e. toaster oven, coffee pot, etc.), X-box games, bicycle, pocketbooks, wallets, ipod, printer, camera, watch, etc.

 

Themed basket ideas:

Holiday decorations, movies, music, ethnic food/items, coffee, tea, New Mom, beauty, photo/frames, tools, kitchen,  reading/books, garden, office desk supplies, scrapbooking, summer, fall, spring, winter, school supplies,  games, toiletries, pet, craft, knitting, crocheting, sports, first aid…..

LET YOUR IMAGINATION GO….!

 

Donations should be brought to the school NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 16TH.  If you would like to donate earlier, there is storage space.   Donations should NOT include perishable items.    Please mark your donation as Tricky Tray 2015, complete and attach the form below and send to the school office.  Please contact hsa@stleosschool.org if you have any questions.

10/6/15 - OCTOBER DATES TO REMEMBER

October has been a busy month here at St. Leo's!.  We have some key dates to remember over the next few weeks.

October 15th -  Chicken and Chips Dinner - orders due no later than Friday, 10/9.
October 16th  - Genevieve's Orders are due.  This is the absolute last day for orders.
October 16th - Family Tricky Tray Prize Donations Due
October 16th - Class Baskets for Tricky Tray Due
October 16th - Box Tops and Labels for Education Due
October 17th - Fall Clothing Drive in the rear yard of the school.  Please be sure that you use green garbage bags and that they are tied securely.
October 23rd - Halloween Candygrams are due.  This is the last date to submit orders to ensure we have all bags ready for Halloween.
October 30th - Halloween Candygrams delivered, Halloween Parade.
October 30th - Tricky Tray Tickets - this will be the last day to purchase tickets (if available).
